Finance Execs Slow to Hedge Weather Risks

The overwhelming majority of senior finance and risk executives (82 percent) believe that climate change will force modifications to their business model, according to a survey by CME Group and Storm Exchange Inc. Thirty-four percent of respondents said that the weather has become more volatile in recent years. Yet only about one-half believe that their organization is well-prepared to cope with current weather-related risks.
