Dashboards have become an integral part of business, in part because they are flexible and can be applied to many areas of a company, depending on a particular department's needs. This article delves into the different types of dashboards by breaking them into six broad categories (enterprise performance, divisional, process/activity monitoring, application, customer and vendor), and provides suggestions about the most appropriate applications for each type of dashboard.
